The Souljazz Orchestra - Sankofa

Sunday Jazz Continues, well actually it’s Digital Crate Digging Continues as we proceed and continue on this Saturday morning!

Y’all can tell what kind of mood I’m, what kind of food I’m serving this morning!

Actually this meal is appropriate for any time frame helping to rebuke the ongoing mind games. 

Trying to chill, it seems like we’re in attack zones with hackers attacking the mainframe!

It’s all game, we’re trying to change it but in the meantime and between time we’re checking out the Souljazz Orchestra a Canadian musical group based in Ottawa that has had success in touring Canada, the United States and Europe.

 Their music is a fusion of soul, jazz, funk, afrobeat and Latin styles. The group members are.....

Changing The Game (Part Five)

 We’re putting it down on this Fabulous Friday where it’s a blessing to be here; we’re changing the game!

Some will say the it's like Russia vs. Ukraine, the  circumstances are debatable;  being built or torn down? sometimes they’re the same!

Check the proverb, when one door closes and another one opens!  in the game we’re getting open so we can take the shot. 

Like it’s the NBA playoffs; layups / jump shots / dunks! are weapons of choice? the good word and funk is dropped…

…as we rebuke the  GOP / Supreme Court like ongoing scheme / plot! coming up with a way to change the game even peeping game per this Flashback Friday, sitting / reflecting on past episodes beneath a curious moon.

Hopefully finding lost whispers so I can be encouraged like the gospel song by William Becton! might even sing along / get in tune.. ..with this last lullaby, hopefully / God willing there'll be more, per the Kevin Samuels rumors check the score; but I’m not going to lie for some it’ll be hard to do.. ..with strange little demons chasing you, I’m sure due to the pandemic and other prevailing circumstances I’m not the only one going through!

How did we try to act? a safe haven / safe harbor is where we’re going to so we can regroup!

No information overloads as we do the math, formulating plans to change the game so we can recoup!

Public transportation / transformation takes place, now we’ll proceed and continue changing the game!

Caught up in an unpleasant situation but I moved on, naysayers say I’m changing; told them I refuse to accept the blame!

Changing The Game (Part Four)

On this HumpDay where we're trying to set off the Extravaganza?  we're dealing with the smoke and mirrors / the fog / the clouds / drizzle out here in the Atlanta area where a storm passed through; but we know how storms do!

Getting over the hump after clearing the path or creating more obstacles? so what you going through? 

From here in Atlanta to Ukraine folk are trying to maintain, but I mentioned that it’s all game and these leagues will change the rules!!  fates were decided by the coin toss, but I'm not trying to go out like that!

Ecological ignorance will alter the fate; but its not too late to change the game up, so whatcha know about that?

O-Dizzle is rocking ya, either O-Dog Day Partying or Afternoon Jazzing part of the healing process for those that are spazzing! that's what the deal is as we go all out for this! paying the price, actually we overpaid...

Changing the game up on those playing us like Eric B and Rakim mentioned, sweating the technique! some of my folk are like James Brown mentioned, Bewildered! knowing the outlook is bleak! O-Dizzle told them you'll get played...

…especially those that strayed off the path! losing streaks await them! like the hip hop catch phrase it's like this and like that..

The devil will oppose per the old school Baptist preacher up in Louisville where the Kentucky Derby is about to go down but we never stayed off the math plus funk is dropped, as we put it down like this and like that..

Changing The Game (Part Three)

 True indeed!!  oh yes we’re changing the game like the Supreme Court  and Roe v Wade! wishers and hopers will get gaffled / left baffled but we already knew, back in the day we did the math when we cruised up Broadway and Muhammad Ali Boulevard in Louisville doing it real big! 

Especially during this Derby Week but outlooks were bleak as Mitch McConnell was already plotting and scheming as the Judge / Executive  of Jefferson County but I avoided the bounty, follow me down here in the ATL; changing the game up different styles / on a different path as a bruh flows down I-20; dropping this breakbeat science is the gig! 

As I change the game up for some the game is up!! it's on fire like portions of Ukraine as they feel the pain; others? they see how shady things are as some want us to take a loss! 

I change my name up; O-Dog aka O-Dizzle, aka O-Zone, it's on!! rocking the alias; but not trying to front and floss! 

On this Terrible / Terrific Tuesday where things can go either way? a game changer, peeping game / doing the math every telltale sign goes in my mind / the database.

Come closer to the conclusion? I mentioned jumping and recognizing I’m not downsizing I’m still in the chase. Changing the game, winning / losing the race? it’s got me in a Cold Sweat like James Brown! Dripping coffee on a cool morning or lemonade on a hot afternoon on my outfit, but not out of it; it’s still going down.

Bad episodes? like I mentioned earlier it had me in a Cold Sweat like James Brown! Clairvoyance was needed, but now changing the game due to 20 / 20 hindsight / halcyon clarity after the drama / games went down.

True indeed!!!  what can I tell ya?  its easy to get victimized by gamblers out for a fast buck; bad cards they'll deal ya! 

True indeed!! some are almost  broke physically / mentally / spiritually; who’s stuck waiting in the dark? the system didn't really feel ya, they already used you up! 

True indeed!! interlopers dipped in a fast truck after you pressed your luck; now egos get bruised up! 

We cruised all up in local / national / international and intergalactic frontiers; check us out as the mothership blasted off from our runway out here off of I-20 in Atlanta with robins and cardinals chirping through the smoke.

Abused while on this earth by irrational earthlings I see how they work things, the galaxy beckoning me away? it's serious, it's no joke! Tethered by the stars, healing physical and mental scars that's inspiring this dusty bronze poetry... ...from my notebook; notes I took now changing the game with this good word, the pen and pad know me!

Based on what reality will show me? I recognized the pattern, I could see that it’s all game!
